To me, this sculpture has a bit of an unearthly, or undersea creature vibe that’s both cute and elegant. Full of technical challenges, I returned to it again and again before it was completely resolved.  To create a contiguous form on raised legs, it was cut in half to be hollowed out, then reassembled.  The cord travels inconspicuously down an acrylic tube, matching the light-rods around it.
